WEB DESK: Renowned story writer Ishtiaq Ahmed died today due to a heart attack while at the waiting lounge of the Jinnah International Airport Karachi, Aaj News reported.
Ahmed was in Karachi to attend the International Book Fair.
His claim to fame are the numerous children’s stories he wrote during the 1970. Inspector Jamshed and Inspector Kamran are some of the memorable characters of his suspense novels.
Karachi International Book Fair started from November 12 to 16 in Expo Center.
