ISLAMABAD: Outgoing Indian High Commissioner Dr TCA Raghavan paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad today.
Matters relating to bilateral interests were discussed during the meeting.
Meanwhile, talking to a delegation of Qatari entrepreneurs in Islamabad on Tuesday, the prime minister said Pakistan was emerging on the map of the world as a strong economy.
He said the government was working on a robust economic framework to steer Pakistan to the fast progressing economies of the world in the next decade.
Nawaz Sharif said foreign investors were coming to Pakistan due to government’s pro-investment and transparent policies.
He urged the Qatari investors to invest in hydro-power projects of Pakistan.
The members of the delegation showed interest in investment in various sectors.
