ISLAMABAD: Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said people of Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) have been struggling since 1931 for the just settlement of Kashmir dispute.
He said they have offered enormous sacrifices during the past 27 years.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, in a statement, paid tributes to the founding members of Muslim Conference, Late Chaudhary Ghulam Abbas on his anniversary, said that he led people on the path of respectful and dignified life.
He said Chaudhary Ghulam Abbas, Mirwaiz Maulana Muhammad Yusuf Shah and other leaders were victimized and forced to migrate yet they continued to offer selfless sacrifices, thus registered their names in the history of Kashmir.
He said these leaders would be always remembered by the people of Kashmir for their unflinching faith and commitment towards the Kashmir struggle.
Terming the freedom of Kashmir and the resolution of Kashmir issue the dream of these iconic leaders, he said their dreams would be actualized when the Kashmir dispute is resolved as per the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir.
