KARACHI: Legendary Pakistan cricketer (retd) Javed Miandad on Sunday said rules and regulations at domestic level should be made strict and their implementation be ensured, Aaj News reported.
He said ruling out Pakistani star leg-spinner Yasir Shah from team would allow other players to understand their limits. Such things should be taken seriously and forthwith punished.
“Had paltry things at domestic level been not forgiven, our players would not have attempted any wrong at international level,” he said while talking to Aaj News.
He said when you yourself would not take firm stance over such matters, more such things would flourish and become infamy for our country across the world.
He said Pakistan Cricket Board was responsible for non-implementation of rules and regulations at home.
Miandad said if somebody had been caught in any illegal matter now, it meant he had been involved in it for long. We need to dig out more such people and correct their behavior at grassroots level.
