ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday categorically stated that no change has been made in the route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
“The projects launched by the government, particularly in the field of energy, will guarantee a prosperous future to the nation,” he said talking to the editors of newspapers and magazines in Islamabad today.
He said syllabus was being changed according to the contemporary requirements.
The president emphasized framing media policy keeping in view the country’s traditions, culture and the current situation.
Meanwhile, the newly appointed ambassadors of Iran, Sri Lanka and Cuba to Pakistan presented their credentials to President Mamnoon Hussain at a ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday.
The president felicitated the newly appointed ambassadors and expressed the confidence that they will play their role for strengthening of bilateral relations.
He said Pakistan desires friendly relations with all the countries particularly those in the region for peace, stability and prosperity.
Mamnoon Hussain said the foreign investors should take full advantage of the country’s immense investment opportunities.
Referring to the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in the war on terror, the President reaffirmed the commitment to wipe out the menace. Operation Zarb-e-Azb will continue till elimination of the last terrorist.
Ambassadors and High Commissioner who presented their credentials included Ambassador of Cuba Gabriel Tiel Capote, Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost and Sri Lankan High Commissioner Loku Katha Godage Jayantha Chandrasiri Perera.
