LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Friday agreed to prioritise confidence building through coordination and understanding stances of one another, said Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry.
“Meeting between the two leaders was held in a very pleasant manner. It was a well-wishing visit of the Indian PM, which was welcomed by Pakistan,” he said while talking to media at Lahore airport. He said they discussed to open new doors of peace.
Aizaz said Modi informed Nawaz about a short visit and requested to meet him in Lahore on which PM invited him at home.
