ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif vowed to complete his agenda of establishing a network of motorways in the country.
Talking to media in the aircraft while returning from China, he said roads would have been constructed from Torkham to Karachi and Gwadar had his government was not toppled.
Nawaz Sharif said now work on Torkham-to Jalalabad road is underway. He said we want to extend Torkham-Jalalabad road to Kabul and the Central Asian States.
The Prime Minister said Islamabad-Lahore motorway is a national asset and its repair work would have been started in 2007.
