KARACHI: Special Assistant to CM Sindh for Culture and Tourism Ms. Sharmila Faruqui has said that the sacrifice of innocent children of Army Public School Peshawar will not go waste instead they will live among the hearts of millions of people.
PPP is the only political party which sacrificed the lives of its several leaders to strengthen the democracy in Pakistan and it is well aware that the only way to defeat terrorists is to promote education, culture and art, she said this while inaugurating the Jinnah Cultural complex and Model Library at New Karachi here on Wednesday.
The date of inauguration December 16 is specially selected to pay the tribute to the brave martyrs of Army public School Peshawar, she said. She dedicated this library and complex to all those angels who fearlessly challenged the terrorist a year back in APS Peshawar.
Sharmila pledged that PPP government will never end the struggle against terrorism and it is a party of martyrs and masses. Families of martyrs have high regards in PPP as we ourselves are also member of families of martyrs and we will never bow down against extremists, she added.
She urged people of Pakistan that to crush the ideology of extremism and terrorism we need to be united for a single cause, a prosperous Pakistan without any discrimination of cast, creed and religion.
On this occasion Special Secretary Culture and Tourism Abdul Kareem Solangi, Director General Culture Manzoor Kanasro, Managing Director Sindh Tourism development corporation Nazir Ahmed Soomro,
