The meeting discussed various issues related to the conference scheduled to be held in March 2016 in the metropolis, said a statementon Tuesday.
Director General Culture Sindh, Manzoor Kanasro presented an overview of last conference held in October 2014 and invited recommendations, suggestions and proposals from the scholars.
Sharmila observed that the conference was being held at the time when law and order situation has improved, adding that “we need to mobilize youth in such events to promote message of tolerance and peace”.
A committee was formed to recommend names of renowned guest participants and speakers not only from across Pakistan but all over the world. The Committee will meet on weekly basis to devise guidelines for the required arrangements.
