According to Pinkvilla, the Pakistani singer who played the lead role in the 2010 prequel Tere Bin Laden, has been replaced by host-turned-actor Manish Paul in the second instalment of the film.
The movie’s first part, Tere Bin Laden was a satirical based on America’s obsession over the world’s most horrifying terrorist, Osama Bin Laden.
Released in 2010, it had garnered warm response by audiences and critics but was banned in Pakistan due to its objectionable content.
Being Abhishek Sharma’s directorial, the sequel is anticipated to be based along similar lines as the previous one.
The reason for Ali Zafar’s exit from the sequel is still not known.
The film will also feature newcomers Pradhuman Singh and Sikandar and will hit silver screens on February 19 in 2016.
