Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qaiser, led the walks attended by faculty, staff and students. On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Qaiser announced that gold medal awarded to the top position holder from University of Karachi and the library of Public Administration Department will be named after the APS victims.
He said that 16th December is the worst day of Pakistan’s history when our kids were barbarically martyred. This massacre was unprecedented in the human history in which innocent children was mercilessly killed.
Vice-Chancellor said “I pay tribute to all of these martyrs of our brave land on behalf of KU. This event united all of us forgetting all of our differences. We want to tell the enemies that this act was shameful and cowardly and they will be brought to justice one day’.
Walk was organized under the leadership of VC KU Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qaiser from Post office to Administration Building.It was stated that Islam has no space for terrorism. Everybody knows Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance.

Prof. Dr. Qaiser added that this would be done from the Annual Convocation that is going to be held on January 30, 2016 and this will continue in the years to come.
