KARACHI: Spinner Saif-ur-Rehman produced event’s best bowling figures by taking six wickets to spin Multan in the final after defeating Bannu by five wickets in the second semifinal at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium on Saturday.
Off-break bowler captured six wickets for mere seven runs in four overs as Bannu was bowled out for 113 in the 19th over. Saleem Sharif too got two wickets for 23 runs at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.
Multan in reply raced to victory for the five wickets. Abdullah made 36 and Saif-ur-Rehman slammed an unbeaten 31 after his six wickets haul.
Multan will take on Karachi Intermediate Board (KIB) in the final at Karachi Gymkhana Ground on Monday.
