ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Tuesday said no country could cast an evil eye on Harmain Sharifain. The government should adopt founder of Pakistan People’s Party Zulfiqar Bhutto’s policy to gather the Islamic World, Aaj News reported.
“Visit to Sri Lanka was not important. Effects of tension between Saudi Arab and Iran would be felt in Pakistan,” he said while turning down Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz’s statement by terming it weak and helpless statement.
He, along Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shireen Mazari, demanded in-camera briefing on foreign policy in this regard.
Mazari said the government should take its people into confidence.
