NEW DELHI: Indian Union Minister and BJP leader Prakash Javadekar on Sunday said Pakistan-India relations could not be sabotaged by an attack, a statement that has been endorsed by BJP secretary general as well, Aaj News reported.
Indian ruling party BJP has adopted measured reaction on the attack. Javadekar said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended friendship hand towards Pakistan, now Pakistan should also respect it and do not carry out any action against Indian state.
“The talks cannot be destroyed due to one attack. Pakistan is our neighbour. You cannot change your neighbour, you can change friends and therefore we must continue with the talks but talks have to be mainly on the issue of terrorism and that’s what exactly India is doing,” he said.
