BHIMBER: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid on Monday said peace in South Asia was imperative for peace in the world.
“Peace in the region is linked to the resolution of the Kashmir dispute,” he said while addressing a PML-N youth convention in Bhimber.
He said resolving the Kashmir dispute was the top priority of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to remove sufferings of the people of Kashmir.
Pervaiz Rashid said PML-N accepted the mandate of PPP in Azad Kashmir and adopted the policy of non-interference, but it was high time to hold the party accountable through ballot.
He hoped the people of Azad Kashmir would vote for PML-N and reject corruption and bad governance.
Addressing the PML-N workers, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Barjees Tahir announced to establish an agriculture university in Bhimber, set-up a passport office, and open a cardiology unit in DHQ Bhimber. He said Kashmir Expressway will be extended from Mangla to Barnala and a ring road will also be constructed in the city.
