WEB DESK: Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra won the Favourite Actress in a New TV Series award at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles for her international debut as FBI agent Alex Parrish in American TV series ‘Quantico’.

While narrating her first ever experience of the high profile ceremony, the actress said: “I was accompanied by my mother, my manager and a member of the ‘Quantico’ unit to the event. It was a bit strange initially since I did not know anyone else there, but got talking no less.”
She also revealed that she had drank five cups of coffee before the ceremony began to keep herself active during the long event. “As I had flown into LA hours before the ceremony, I downed five cups of coffee and chomped on a burger just before the proceedings began. When I land in LA, the first thing I do is order the In-N-Out hamburger — it is my favourite! And given that awards ceremonies are a long affair, I needed it to keep myself going.”
