KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad Khan, who is also the Chancellor of the public sector universities in the province, has said that steps are being taken on priority basis to maintain quality of education in the professional academic institutions.
He said this while chairing a meeting on Wednesday to review the matters pertaining to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto University of Law.
The Governor said that establishment of this institution augurs well and headway in the realms of education in the discipline of the law.
He said that this university would benefit the students in the province of Sindh.
Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan appreciated the suggestion for the setting up of the University’s campuses in Khairpur, Larkana and Hyderabad.
It was decided at the meeting that the Law University’s main campus at Ibrahim Hyderi would soon be completed.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Qazi Khalid in his briefing said that 300 students have been enrolled and that the first semester has been completed.
