LAHORE: Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said continuity of policies was a pre-requisite for country’s development and prosperity.
“Education is an important tool for of country’s development, to which the government is giving special attention,” he said while addressing a ceremony in Lahore.
In this regard, the minister said government selected 40 young male and female students each year for higher studies.
He said that the politics of agitation had impeded the way of country’s journey towards progress and prosperity.
The minister said international financial institutions were acknowledging Pakistan’s economic turnaround, which is a proof of PML-N government’s prudent policies.
Ahsan Iqbal said loadshedding duration had reduced to six to eight hours and assured that this menace would be eliminated within the tenure of the government.
