WEB DESK: Brilliant pace and sharp spin bowling helps Peshawar Zalmi to restrict Lahore Qalandars to 117/6 in the fifth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
After winning the toss and chose to bowl first, Peshawar Zalmi build pressure from the word go.
Junaid Khan bowled two wickets maiden-over when he bold Chris Gayle on the first ball and run out of Cameron Delport on the third ball of the match gave a setback to Lahore Qalandars in the first over.
Shaun Tait took the wicket of Muhammad Rizwan in the second over and Lahore Qalandars never came back in the innings again.
They were on 45/4 after 10 and 67/5 after 15 overs but 50 runs in the last five over help them to notch up 117 runs.
Other than Dwayne Bravo’s 32 and Azhar Ali’s 31 runs no player fulfilled the expectations. Muhammad Asghar took 2 for 11 for Peshawar Zalmi.
