ISLAMABAD: Indian troops, in their continued acts of state terrorism, martyred eighteen Kashmiris including a woman and a young boy during the last month of February.
According to data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, of those martyred one civilian was killed in custody, reported Kashmir Media Service.
The killings rendered two women widowed and six children orphaned.
During the period, 230 people were injured due to the firing of pellets,teargas shells and bullets on peaceful protesters by Indian troops and police personnel while 653 persons including Hurriyet leaders and activists were arrested.
The troops also destroyed six residential houses in the month and molested as many women in the month.
