Islamabad: Stranded in China due to land sliding, 28 of 45 Pakistanis return to Islamabad on an Air China flight, Aaj News reported.
According to Benazir Bhuto International Airport, the passengers were flown back en-route Kasghar to Oroomchi on flight number CZ-6007. The stranded Pakistanis had to return home on foot through Tashkurghan and Sust Border due to ill weather, they were not able to return on time.
Earlier, Nine Pakistanis returned home to the federal capital two days ago. Total count of Pakistanis returned are 37 out of 45 who were left behind. Eight Pakistanis are still left in China and are expected to return home in the next two days.
Spokesperson Foreign Minster thanked Chinese Government for taking care of the people, while stating that the Foreign Minister Office was in contact with Pakistani Consulate in Beijing the whole time.
