PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) Secretary Information Zahid Khan and Senator Shahi Sayed on Friday advised PTI chief Imran Khan and JI Ameer Siraj ul Haq to pay more attention to miseries of rain affected people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa rather then Panama leaks.
Talking to media, they said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were environed with pains, hardships and troubles due to natural calamities and terrorism but the provincial government and political leadership were engaged in other issues.
Zahid Khan said people rains are playing havoc with people of Malakand and Kohistan, various villages have been washed away by floods, and several areas have been disconnected from rest of the country due to land sliding.
He further said that a large number of houses have either been destroyed or partially damaged and people are awaiting relief assistance but Imran Khan and Sirajul Haq are making hue and cry of Panama leaks instead of focusing on miseries of affected people.
He said that many people have been forced to live under the open sky without any relief assistance due to devastation caused to their houses by rains and floods and despite several requests by Deputy Commissioner Kohistan helicopters were not provided for flood affected people while on the other hand PTI chief Imran Khan, KP CM and cabinet members were moving from Islamabad to Peshawar in helicopters.
