KARACHI: A Bengal tiger dies at the Karachi Zoo on Friday.
This was announced by an official of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).
Doctors had conducted a complete check-up of the animal last week.
It was pointed out that the tiger aged 16 had died because of kidney failure.
The official said that after receiving the news Administrator Karachi Laeeq Ahmed visited the Zoo and ascertained the cause of the death.
Ahmed directed the zoo administration to provided `natural environment’ to the animals. The natural age of a tiger is stated to be 18 years. – APP
