ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Sunday said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would have to resign from premiership. He also announced countrywide anti-corruption movement starting from Sindh on April 26.
After Sindh, he said he would hold a rally in Lahore next Sunday. “Turns are assigned in our country for corruption,” he said while addressing a public gathering at F-9 Park in Islamabad to celebrate 20th foundation day of his party.
“We laid foundation of our party to make country Allama Iqbal’s Pakistan. I even did not know how to make speech first. However, when I thought what would I reply when Allah (SWT) will ask me what did I do in the world?” he said.
When nations do accountability, democracy gets strengthened. Do not trick nation that democracy is in danger, he said.
He said Pakistani nation would be on road marching towards Raiwand if commission of PM’s desire was formed.
He also demanded to make terms of reference of the commission specific and calle international forensic firm for investigation into Panama Papers leaks.
