Government and opposition have agreed to form a twelve member Parliamentary committee to review issues relating to Panama Papers, offshore companies, and written off loans.
This was announced by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid while talking to the media after meeting of the government team with the opposition in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The committee would consist of six members each from the government and the opposition. The two sides would nominate their members from the National Assembly and the Senate.
The committee will submit its reports to the parliament within two weeks of its formation.
To a question, the minister said the national assembly would adopt a resolution regarding establishment of the parliamentary committee.-Radio Pakistan
