WEB DESK: As Pakistani actors are making waves to B-town, it is really exciting to know that Indian superstars also show their interest in working in Pakistan.
Recently, Indian superstar Anil Kapoor expressed his desire to visit Pakistan and work in Pakistani film industry.
The producer of Fawad Khan’s debut, Khoobsurat, Anil Kapoor said,
“I will definitely come to Pakistan if I get an invitation. I think I will visit soon,” Voice of America quoted the Dil Dhadakne Do actor as saying. “I always say this and it is a fact that I am dying to come to Pakistan.”
Expressing his love for his Pakistani fans, he said, “I feel so happy when Pakistanis love my films. We are brothers and sisters … I am just an entertainer and it’s my job to entertain people whether they are in Pakistan or India.”
Kapoor emphasized on the need for joint productions, claiming, “It’s about time Pakistan and India start co-productions. We should be given permission to shoot in Pakistan.”
He feels the Pakistani censor board needs to be a little more lenient. “They need to be a little liberal for the betterment of the film industry.” He also sent a big shout to his Pakistani audience, thanking them for their love and support.
