WEB DESK: Bollywood film industry has been producing movies on different political scenarios and political issues, depicting different political personalities. This time B-town has extended its perimeters and dare to depict Indian Ex- Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a movie.
The movie has been named as “The accidental PM”.
The story of the movie has been taken from a controversial book of an Indian writer, Sanjaya Baru. The story of the film will give an insight to its viewers about the political period of Manmohan Singh.
Sanjaya Baru was the media advisor to Ex-PM Manmohan Singh from 2004 till 2008.
The producer of the film, Sunil Bohra said that this will be a feature film not a documentary.
Manoj Wajpae is rolled up to play as Manmohan’s media advisor, Sanjaya Baru and a boy from Punjab is shortlisted for the role of Manmohan Singh.
Though the haunt for actors is still continue to play the roles of Rahul Gandhi and Soniya Gandhi.
“We are already in touch with overseas casting agencies looking for a foreign actress who makes the cut (to act as Sonia Gandhi) if we are unable to find one in the Indian industry,” said a person associated with the movie project.
The film will be released in more than a dozen languages in India, said the people associated with the film.
The first teaser of the film will be released by August 30 and the film will be on floors by the end of 2017.
