KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Adviser to CM on Information, Maula Bux Chandio on Saturday visited the residence of renowned Qawwal Ajmad Sabri and offered condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
They were accompanied by Special Assistant to CM Sindh, Rashid Rabbani, and Nafisa Shah MNA.
They condoled with the mother and brother of Amjad Sabri, who was gunned down in Karachi on Wednesday.
On the occasion they expressed their profound grief and recalled the deceased’s extraordinary contribution towards the art of Qawwali and Sufism.
Moula Bux Chandio stated that the services of the deceased would long be remembered.
They assured the family members that the killers would be brought to book and that every possible step is being taken in this regard.
They further said that the investigation agencies have been directed to arrest the culprits who are involved in such an incident.
Chandio added on the occasion that we have been deprived of an eminent Qawwal who was the identity of Pakistan.
Chandio also said that the services of late Amjad Sabri would be long remembered. -APP
