Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and Intelligence Agencies on Wednesday foiled a major terror bid in Quetta and Mach and arrested nine Afghans in a joint operation.
According to FC spokesperson, the security forces carried out a search operation in Mach and diffused 20kg explosives which were planted on a road side to target some important convoys.
Nine Afghan nationals were arrested in Quetta and handed over to police as they did not have valid documents.
On the other hand, FC and intelligence agencies also launched action in Khuzdar and detained three drug dealers and recovered 3kg drugs from their possession. -INP
