KARACHI: The 72-inch diameter water pipeline of KWSB burst at Dhabeji on Sunday.
This was stated by an official of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB).
He maintained that the pipeline burst due to “back pressure following power outage”.
The staff of the KWSB has started repair work which is expected to be completed by Monday morning, the official further stated.
It was pointed out that the pipe burst has resulted in the shortage of 200MG water for the metropolis.
