KARACHI: Senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Doctor Amir Liaquat Hussain quits Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Tuesday, Aaj News reported.
According to reports Dr Aamir announced his retirement on a private TV channel show. Aamir said that, he was enable to defend the horrid acts carried out by the workers of MQM as aftermath of a hatred speech delivered by the chief of MQM.
Aamir also said that, he has been in immense pressure for the past two days. He added that, chief of MQM should quit politics if he can not control the words.
Earlier on this day, Dr Farooq Sattar, central leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan, declared that from now onwards the decisions of MQM would be made in Pakistan.
He said that, MQM is a Pakistan-based political party and its affairs would now be managed from Karachi.
