ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Talal Chaudhry Tuesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan was doing negative politics by levelling baseless allegations against the government.
People want development and prosperity in the country rather than agitation and unrest, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said Imran Khan was repeating same statements of holding rallies and levelling allegations against the government in every press conference.
Due to prudent policies of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, PML-N was victorious in local bodies, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir general elections, he said and added that PML-N would succeed in 2018 elections as well.
Talal Chaudhry said the national economy had improved while load shedding and terrorism had declined to a great extend due to the effective policies of the government.
The MNA said PML-N had filed a disqualification reference against PTI Chief Imran Khan under articles 62 and 63 of the constitution before the Speaker of the National Assembly.
So, he said, Imran Khan should come into the parliament and give answer of his disqualification reference.
Replying to a question, he said Pakistan had a clear policy regarding Kashmir issue as the Prime Minister had highlighted Kashmir issue at every fora including United Nations (UN).
He said Pakistan’s moral, political and diplomatic support was with Kashmiris. –APP
