KARACHI: The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, A.D. Khawaja, has sought an inquiry report from the SSP South regarding the reported firing incident in Karachi’s Delhi Colony on Friday on the vehicle of Faisal Vawda,a leader of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI).
The IGP instructed that all the available evidences should be collected and every step be taken for the arrest of those involved in the reported incident.
A police official said that Faisal Vawda remained unhurt.
KARACHI: Unknown assailants opened fire at Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda’s vehicle on Friday near Delhi colony, Aaj News reported.
According to reports, Vawda along with PTI’s senior leader Imran Ismail escape a deadly attack as two unknown gun men opened fire at his vehicle near Punjab chowrangi.
However, no harm was done as the vehicle was completely bullet proof.
They fire a total of six bullets at us, four on Vawda’s side and two on mine, says Ismail.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and requested an immediate report from Inspector General Police (IGP) Allah Dino Khawaja.
