KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has exhorted the PPP leaders and workers to visit victims of terrorism, orphanages, Edhi Homes and centers for disabled people on his birthday on Wednesday instead of the traditional ceremonies of cutting cakes and other celebrations.
In this regard, the PPP Coordination Committees of Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Central Punjab, South Punjab and Azad Jammu & Kashmir have been directed for celebrating the birthday with the segments of society who deserve more attention, love and care,a Bilawal House Media Cell statement said on Tuesday.
The KPK leaders have been asked to also visit the Internally-Displaced Persons (IDPs), Balochistan leaders visit victims of Quetta blasts, AJK leaders to visit refugees, Central and South Punjab leaders to visit prisoners.
PPP Sindh leaders will visit Darul-Sukoon and other such centers for vulnerable children with disabilities.
The PPP leaders will distribute gifts and presents among children and other inmates at Edhi Homes, orphanages, and centers for disabled. -APP
