KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s London Secretariat on Wednesday devolved the organizational structure in Pakistan, Aaj Tv reported.
The MQM- Pakistan had yesterday decided to expel four London based eminent leaders Nadeem Nusrat, Wasey Jalil, Mustafa Azizabadi and Qasim Ali Raza from the decision making coordination committee, after Nusrat said in a statement that there is ‘no minus-Altaf’ and MQM nothing without its founder Altaf Hussain.
According to media reports, Nusrat also announced devolving all departments of the party, saying that MQM founder Altaf Hussain has endorsed the decision.
Nusrat condemned the joint resolution passed against Hussain in Sindh Assembly today, terming it ‘shameful’. Nusrat also asked the elected members of the MQM-P to resign from the national and provincial assemblies.
Farooq Sattar’s reaction
However, MQM- Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar has rejected the London secretariat move and said that all party affairs will be decided in Pakistan.
He said that the party stand firm on decisions taken on 23 August and no elected member will resign from the parliament.
