KARACHI: A division bench comprising of Sindh High Court Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Abdul Ghani issued notice to Chief Secretary Sindh, Interior Minister Sindh and Inspector General Sindh seeking answer till September 27 against the suspension of SSP Rao Anwar.
According to reports, Barrister Salahudin Ahmed submitted application on the behalf of SSP Rao Anwar against his suspension.
The application stated that, SSP Rao Anwar arrested Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan’s leader Khuwaja Izhar Ul Hasan according to the anti-terrorism law, adding to this Hasan was booked in three cases which give police the right to arrest him according to law.
The court should rule out the un-just suspension of SSP Rao, the application stated
MQM-P’s Hasan on the other hand has secured bail on three cases from SHC. -BBCURDU
