KARACHI: Police arrested four people for allegedly putting up banners in support of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s founder and former Chief, Aaj News reported.
According to reports, the banners calls for the ‘death’ of people who betrayed the founder of MQM.
The full controversal text on the banner was “Jo Quaid-e-Tehreek ka ghaddar hay, wo mout ka haqdar hay” interpretated as “those who betrayed founder of movement deserves death”.
Rangers and Police removed the banners from sites as soon as the news aired on different local news channels.
Subsequently, banner against current leader of MQM, Farooq Sattar and Rabbita Committee were seen in Saddar and related areas.
Identity of the four arrested people is unknown as of this moment.
