ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan issued notice to Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Imran Khan over disqualification, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, the election commission of Pakistan heard Khan’s disqualification case under supervision of chief election commissioner. Applicant Hashim Ali Bhutta has filed request over Khan’s disqualification.
The applicant point out in a statement that Khan’s party has collected funds through foreign sources. He is not eligible according to article 62 and 63.
The applicant further stated that Khan has provided inappropriate certificates to election commission of Pakistan.
However, after hearing, ECP issued notice to Imran Khan and adjourned hearing till December 1st.
