RAWALPINDI: DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar rubbishing the Indian military’s claim of carrying out a ‘surgical strike’ in Azad Kashmir, saying that India failed to prove this claim, Aaj News reported.
While addressing at the annual ceremony of Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry, DG Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar said that India has failed in proving the claim surgical strikes accros LoC.
Indian troops committed a ceasefire violation by resorting to unprovoked firing at some border points, which was responded effectively.
He made it clear that it will respond strongly to any misadventure, he added.
The DG Rangers also said only illegal offices of political parties were being dismantled. Survey of offices of different political parties was underway.
He vowed that Pakistan had a inviolable defence. Our forces had the potential to counter any enemy attack.
