Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is all set to make a Guinness World Record by holding an abdominal plank for 60 seconds this Sunday. Her fitness levels are way too high and she’s encouraging young girls and women alike to be fit.
Though it’s part of her ‘Do You’ campaign that she’s already promoting for a brand, but it will set a new fitness record. In interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Jacqueline elaborated on this whole drive saying, “It’s a movement which aims to inspire confidence in young girls, encouraging them to express their inherent beliefs, follow their instincts, find their best self, and be who they are, unapologetically.”
Jacqueline even plans to run the marathon next year as she feels any kind of dieting without working out is a waste of time as she added, “Our bodies shouldn’t feel punished when we try to lose or gain weight. It’s only when the body is happy and satisfied that we inch towards fitness.”
Apart from Fernandez, the campaign has also found support in stars like Kalki Koechlin, Lisa Haydon and Rio Olympic medallist, Sakshi Malik.
