ISLAMABAD: Former Information Minister Parveez Rasheed on Friday said that Imran Khan has failed to prove his allegations in the apex court against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad this evening Rasheed accused Chairman PTI for asserting pressure on Supreme Court by issuing threat as Khan in one of his statements clearly said that he would boycott SC’s proceedings if a commission is formed in Panama Papers case.
Rasheed also said that, PTI Chief has become habitual in defaming and undermining country’s institutions.
“It is regrettable that Imran Khan is now not ready to accept court’s offer of setting up a commission, which has been prayed in PTI’s petition, to probe the of Panama Papers case.”, said Former Information Minister.
He asked Imran Khan to take courage and accept his failure since he was enable to prove any allegations against PM Nawaz and suggested to withdraw the case.
On this occasion Minister of State for Information Technology Anusha Rehman said Imran Khan is a king of U-Turns as he is now running away from his much demanded judicial commission to probe Panama case.
This was the first time that former information minister addressed media since he was was asked to stepped down from his duties after a leaked news scandal.
