One of the best current wrestling gimmicks isn’t actually in WWE, but that is something that could change in the near future.
It’s been a memorable year for a certain Matt Hardy, as his 2016 has seen his ascension from a literally stale gimmick to the very top of the wrestling food chain.
Although the Hardy boys are a part of TNA, a company that has a been facing alot of financial problems making their future uncertain, Matt has been able to rejuvenate his career and sparked a speculation about his own future.
In fact, the Broken Matt Hardy gimmick even received massive praise from WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who credited Hardy for doing his best ever work.
Hardy, along with his brother Jeff, made their names in WWE alongside the likes of Edge & Christian, and the Dudley Boyz. The trio of teams put on classics week in, week out, including the infamous Table, Ladder, and Chairs matches.
However, a lot of wrestling fans believe Broken Matt Hardy is the best thing he has ever done, and has seen him do some of his best work.
Ranging from bizarre promos, to ridiculous segments, Broken Matt Hardy is certainly over in the wrestling community, and it should come as no surprise that Vince McMahon wouldn’t mind him back with WWE.
There has been a lot of speculation surrounding both Matt and Jeff’s future, but according to the former, they are only focusing on TNA.
However, he won’t rule out a return to WWE, and has admitted that it could be a possibility if the deal is right.
