ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says all the key economic indicators are positive and the country is moving in the right direction.
He stated this during a meeting with President Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad about the economic situation in the country.
He said with concerted efforts and through a comprehensive economic reforms process, the country has been able to attain macro economic stability.
Talking with a delegation of Pakistan Stock Exchange led by Chairman PSX Muneer Kamal, the finance minister urged the business community to make their positive contribution for progress and development of the country.
Ishaq Dar said the government is planning for expanding investment in various fields through Pakistan Development Fund which would focus on financing commercially viable public sector projects.
The delegation expressed keen interest in partnering with the government to expand the outreach of the Fund.
Members of the delegation lauded the progress made by the government in the economic and security spheres and stated that both domestic and foreign investors are now keen to expand their investments in the country.—Radio Pakistan
