RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COA) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan highly values its brotherly relations with Iran and it will never compromise on bilateral relations with Iran at any cost.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the Army chief assured this while talking to Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Mehdi Honardoost, who called on the CoAS here on Saturday and discussed with him matters of regional security and mutual interests.
General Bajwa said that enhanced Pak-Iran bilateral military co-operation will have positive impact on regional peace and stability.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pak Army’s contributions towards regional peace and stability.
He also expressed his appreciation for ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad for elimination of terrorism from Pakistan.—INP
