Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday clearly stated that a formal notification on the matter of Dawn Leaks has yet to be issued by government.
Addressing a news conference in Karachi on Saturday evening, he said formal notification in this regard will be issued in the light of recommendations made by the inquiry committee, adding that, no effort will be made to protect anyone.
Nisar also said that, tweet messages are not an appropriate way to address any situation because they make non-issue a big issue without any reason.

Replying to a question, he said the prime minister does not become suspicious after holding a meeting with an Indian citizen and any speculations in this regard are uncalled for.
Turning towards political situation in Sindh, the Interior Minister said people of the province have every right to get an alternative leadership.
He said Karachi, that is economic hub of the country, had been held hostage by a single person for long time, but the situation has changed now. He said people of whole country appreciate the operation in Karachi that has resulted in improved law and order situation in the largest city of the country.
He said Sindh government is responsible for the affairs of Sindh.
He said that whole nation supports Karachi operation to rid the city of criminal elements . Nisar Ali Khan also hailed services of Pakistan Coast Guard against crimes in the maritime boundaries of Pakistan.
The Interior Minister said peace has been restored in Karachi due to effective operations by the law enforcement agencies.
