Also, it is extremely frustrating if one cannot sleep properly as it left us tired the next day. There could be multiple reasons behind lack of sleep and here we have few of them:
Your naps must not be longer than 30 minutes if you take any during the day. Sleeping more in day time could be a reason behind lack of good night sleep.
Sleep and Relaxation
Do not fill your bedroom with unnecessary stuff and try to keep TV or laptops out of the room. Also, do some more effort and try to put your phone aside as well. Bedrooms are supposed to be a place for rest and relaxation only hence, it is better if you enter in just to get enough sleep.
Shower before sleep
Taking shower before bed is greatly suggested because it helps the mind relax. Plus the rise and fall of the body temperature make you fall sleep quicker.
Getting fresh air
Daylight has its own advantages and regulate our body’s internal clock is one of them. Therefore, get outside in the day time as it prevent fatigue and help you in getting peaceful sleep.
It may be not proven scientifically but drinking warm milk, coffee or even hot chocolate could be soothing and relaxing. Hence, giving it a try is not harmful at all.
Garlic under a pillow
Garlic under a pillow may sounds bizarre but yes due to sulfur compounds in it you can get quality sleep. Though, its strong aroma is hard to resist but you will use to it and will be able to sleep like you always wanted.
