KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan MQM-P) Wednesday released a white paper on the performance of Pakistan Peoples Party government in Sindh during last nine years.
Addressing a press conference here, MQM-Pakistan Coordinator Dr Farooq Sattar said the provincial governemnt lacked sincerity of purpose as it was the feudal class in Sindh that was exploiting the situation at the cost of marginalized people.
He alleged that the Sindh government had not shared federal funds with local governments at urban centers.
As per white report the PPP government, over the years, failed to deliver even in its strongholds and rather added to the misery of the people across the province.
He said the quota system in the province was a cause of friction among the inhabitants. The system introduced more than 40 years ago, to bring at par the rural population with their urban counterparts, should have achieved its objectives, he added.—APP
