ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son Hussain Nawaz appears before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for the third time. JIT is currently probing the allegations against the Sharif family in the Panama Papers case, Aaj News reported.
The JIT issued fresh summon to the Hussain Nawaz after he failed to appear before the investigating team
After his failure to show up before the JIT on Wednesday it had issued fresh summon to the PM’s son for his appearance today to explain the money trail behind the London properties.
Talking to the media before appearing in front of the JIT, PM’s son assured that, he will come to the JIT whenever summoned, adding that, we are responding to the questions being posed to us.
The JIT headed by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) additional director general Wajid Zia resume its proceedings at the Federal Judicial Academy to probe the PM’s sons with regard to the family’s London properties.
This past Tuesday, the JIT investigated him for six hours regarding London properties.
The JIT had also recorded the statement of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Chief Executive Officer Saeed Ahmed.
Strict security measures has been taken outside the federal judicial academy and the roads leading to it have been sealed.
