ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday will review the progress report presented by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the Panama Case allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz and his family, Aaj News reported.
Thee judge bench, headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan will resume its proceedings into the case. JIT will share its findings in the light of statements of the PM’s two sons, Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz, and National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Chief Executive Officer Saeed Ahmed with the bench.
Hussain Nawaz had made four prolonged appearances before the JIT: May 28, May 30, third time on June 1 and fourth appearance on 3rd June.
However, the PM’s younger son, Hassan, was grilled once by the JIT for more than six hours on June 2.
The apex court had given the JIT 60 days to probe the Sharif family’s properties.
