LAHORE: A high-level meeting was held in Lahore today with Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in the chair.
The meeting reviewed law and order situation in the province.
The meeting decided to tighten security at entry and exit points of the province.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Minister said all necessary steps should be taken for protection of life and property of the people.
He directed to beef up security around mosques, Imambargahs, churches and other holy places.
Shahbaz Sharif also directed to take action against elements involved in street crimes.—Radio Pakistan
